  I brought a visiting family member there for a few drinks. We were in the saloon portion of the place and we were the only people in the whole place. We ordered drinks, and the bartender was excellent. Great service, very friendly. We put some money in the jukebox ($10) and the music was barely audible. The bartender promptly turned it up; not to loud, but we could hear it and have conversation. Then the owner came in and sat down at the other end of the bar and turned the TV on. Then he made the bartender turn the music back down to barely audible...after we just put $10 in it. He said we were disturbing "the customers". I walked I to the restaurant to use the bathroom, and there were no customers, not one. And, there is a door between the bar and the restaurant that can be closed. When I came back from the bathroom, I mentioned it to the bartender...she seemed uncomfortable and said she was not allowed to close it. I just said "o.k., no problem". Then I asked her for another beer, and my brother looks at me and quietly says "we've been cut off". I was astonished...I looked at the bartender, who was clearly embarrassed, and she motioned toward the owner who was still sitting down at the other end of the bar. I asked if it was because of the jukebox, and she shrugged her shoulders...I think she really didn't know what to say. So...I tipped the bartender in cash, and I payed the bill and let the owner know that I am local, I live 3 miles away, and I will never set foot in that place again. And, needless to say...I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. And I certainly do not recommend it to anyone.

  A hidden gem , great food, trucker friendly - plenty of parking, terrific attentive staff & owner. Stop in and you won't be disappointed, you 'll be full with a smile on your face.
